As colleges and universities approach carbon neutrality through energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, lumeo is engaging students.

Clean Technology is one of the fastest growing job markets in the country, yet most campus sustainability projects leave students out of the equation.

Our model engages students in energy projects, giving them real-world experience and making them more competitive for employment.

American institutions of higher education spend $14 billion annually on energy—and environmental stewardship is increasingly important to students. To address these challenges, colleges and universities are working to become carbon neutral.

There are currently 697 signatories of the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment. Working with lumeo towards this commitment gives colleges and universities the opportunity to become more environmentally conscious while giving students the experience they need to become Clean Technology leaders.
